I met jaosehl and her husband yesterday. Not only were they absolutely wonderful, real, laid back and funny, but they are so adorable together! They really make an enviably great couple. They also have the most heartfelt and contagious laughter—especially after talkin’ with a Southern drawl in British accents :p

We drove up to Savvanas Preserve State Park took some photos despite it being pretty desolated due to the dry season. And even though we had slight problems finding I-95 back home, we made it back OK and I had a great time :)

I just found out serendipitously that the name Calissa means:

”Most beautiful. Diminutive of Calista, Mythological Arcadian who transformed into a she-bear, then into the Great Bear constellation.”

Nice!

A phenomenally warm individual who continuously highlights what is good and lovely in human nature.

His advice is always soooo good, and logical. Very supportive and encouraging.

Always willing to try new things, and shares so much of those experiences here, for the rest of us to enjoy vicariously.

A wonderful, wonderful person

_{This is really long overdue, so here it goes…}

Evenstar is really a fantastic person. She will tell you that I’m just being silly, and that I don’t know what I’m talking about, that she’s really not that great, but don’t you listen to her. The reality is that Evenstar has an enormous sensitive heart, she’s passionate, eloquent, honest and real. She’s an extremely gifted writer (she will dispute this to her death, but we know better), intelligent, quick-witted, and quite honestly, with her sagacity in literary and linguistic matters she could be an obnoxious sesquipedalian, but she chooses not to. _{Instead she tortures non-native English speakers like me. Just kidding!! :p}

And then she turns around and gives it to other people, encouraging them, supporting, helping, adding, contributing, caring. It is no wonder then that she is surrounded by great people as well. Anytime you see that orange avatar around, it’s a good sign.

She gives her best shot at being green, which automatically earns anybody my respect. She takes care of herself (physically, emotionally, mentally) and has her intentions set on growth. I feel rather privileged to ‘know’ Evenstar.

Firstly, because I would like to thank her personally for being the chieftain of the cheer & support squad who helped me to quit smoking.

Secondly, because I’d like to do/learn yoga with/from her.

Thirdly, because she is such a wonderfully insightful and kind person that it radiates across the globe through her entries, in her words and actions.

Fourthly, because she has travelled extensively and has a great sense of humor, hence she would tell fantastic anecdotes. Because she’s open-minded, respectful of other cultures, so much that she’s studying them and immersed in them. And of course because I’d like to go to Thailand :)

Lastly, because she’s simply super!

Because I’ve yet to meet someone as determined and tenacious, to whom being unhappy is simply not an option, even after the hardships & mishaps of life. And what is more admirable that someone who transforms pain & sorrow into a heart full of love and compassion?

Her kids are some of the luckiest kids in this planet and they are going to grow up to be fantastic human beings.

Sherlock embodies and symbolizes our humanity: our hearts, minds and bodies, reminding us that even though things may harm any or all of those aspects, we’re still on this planet to make something happen for ourselves and others.

He is one of the most supportive and considerate people I have met on 43T.
He is so good to his family, so loyal and caring. He is thoughtful and compassionate. He is honest and fair. He is witty and has a great sense of humour. He is everything a man should be. He bakes his own banana cake!

Come on, he’s the guy everybody wants to meet! He’s funny, warm, and caring. He thinks deeply and really cares about doing the right thing. He remembers his friends and honors his family. He’s also incredibly smart, but he wears his intelligence like an old, comfortable coat—there, but no attention drawn to it. I would be so proud to have my son grow up with Aadila’s honesty, concern for others, and work ethic. What a guy!
